Post Secret

This particular secret (as with many other too) struck a nerve with me.
Trouble with me is - I don't know who i was before i became ill - she was just a child.

I think i'm off to do my own postcard now.....

3 people had something to say about this:

That's how it was with me, being only a child before the disorder...but as for being the person you once were, who you really are...you can find her. It may not mean you find her AGAIN... you may find her for the FIRST TIME. But that is just as beautiful and rewarding. Trust me. :)

Thank you Arielle. As K told me yesterday, i'm not that child anymore, which is a good thing. I guess in someways my development of my adult self had simply been put on hold and i think until i get a long enough stable period it will continue to be that way.

Change is always scary. There is always a part of us that longs for the past.........

Just wanted to say that it is obvious to me that you are a really lovely person, sensitive and a deep thinker. I have learned through my daughter's problems that this is often the case with anorexia sufferers. Maybe they are a bit too nice for the world and cannot cope with the 'un-nice' things in it!

Suffering does make us stronger, better people. I think you are a beautiful person - and it is really worth you fighting hard to get over all the terrible problems you are experiencing now. Hang on in there!

Wish I could give you a big hug.....
